The Retail Summit officially opened in Dubai today with a welcome address by Hamad Buamim, president and CEO, Dubai Chamber Of Commerce & Industry.

Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson took to the stage on the first day as headline speaker at the new event, which runs until February 14 at Atlantis, The Palm.
