Majid Al Futtaim improves customer experience at mall

DUBAI, June 6, 2018

Majid Al Futtaim, a leading shopping mall, communities and leisure pioneer across region, has implemented a series of services to enhance the overall customer experience at its flagship destination Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, UAE.

The mall’s introduction of Hands Free Shopping set the bar for convenience by revolutionising the traditional shopping journey. Powered by Fetchr the service invites shoppers to drop off their shopping bags and collect them later or have them delivered anywhere at their convenience.

Hands Free Shopping compliments the mall’s existing service portfolio such as the fleet of luxury chauffeur driven vehicles offering a comfortable and private mode of transport to and from the mall, as well as the conveniently located valet parking service and VIP waiting lounge.

Most recently the mall has introduced a new series of enhancements including dedicated parking spaces close to mall entrances for pregnant women and young families, and with the increased usage of bicycles in the city, the mall has created a dedicated and secure bike parking area.

Signs in the car park of Mall of the Emirates now read “people of determination”. The signs have not gone unnoticed with residents and tourists sharing the inspiring national message across social media. Visitors driving electric cars can now easily identify charging stations highlighted in bright green and, to ensure access, the spaces are secured with a newly installed barrier. While entering the mall from the car park has been made safer for visitors with new pedestrian walk ways.

As the warmer months near Mall of the Emirates has installed air-conditioned cabins for ticket marshals at every entrance of the mall, and, mindful of the comfort of third party car cleaning staff the car park is kitted with dedicated seating areas.

As well as subtle aesthetic improvements made to the inside of the mall such as facelifts to recycling stations, waste removal trolleys and safety barriers, customers can now benefit from new services. In the mall’s prayer rooms for example, guests can benefit from complimentary freshly dry-cleaned prayer clothing.

Often busy during rush hour periods, the mall’s taxi queue area now features seating for visitors to relax in comfort while waiting.

Running out of battery on your device? Mall of the Emirates offers a free of charge solution. Simply visit the mall’s customer service desk to receive a power bank to use while roaming the mall. While easy to follow instructions to connect to the mall’s complimentary wi-fi service can also be found at the customer service desk.

Positive changes have also been implemented to the back of house operations at Mall of the Emirates with refurbished bright and inviting staff dining areas, and all staff are provided with a complimentary meal backpack containing safe-to-microwave Tupperware and water bottles. – TradeArabia News Service
