Axiom launches 'revolutionary' Moto Z smartphone

DUBAI, October 19, 2016

Axiom, a leading mobile retailer in the region, has introduced Moto Z Smartphone in the UAE, terming the device as the next big thing.

In an era in which all smartphone innovation seems to be incremental at best, Lenovo has completely reimagined what a smartphone can deliver to today’s consumer, said axiom.

Now available at axiom stores across the UAE, the Moto Z is an ultra-thin, all-metal, 5.5 inch smartphone, claimed to be the world’s thinnest in its class.  Together with its snap-on Moto Mods, the mobile transforms into a revolutionary experience for UAE consumers, axiom said.

The new Moto Z with Moto Mods doesn’t just give users a slightly better camera, it gives them a Hasselblad with 10x optical zoom.  Instead of small speakers, users get JBL stereo sound; and instead of five-inch screens, users get 70-inch projection.

“Brand loyalty and habit sometimes get in the way of making the right mobile purchases, and that can often lead to consumers buying a ‘new’ phone that is not very different from their old one,” said Fahad Al Bannai, CEO of axiom. “With the launch of the Moto Z, consumers are being offered technology that is truly different.”

The JBL SoundBoost has two speakers built-in, and the audio technology is powered by JBL. This makes music sound a lot better, and louder. There’s also an additional 1,000mAh battery, and the mod will use that battery first before tapping into the phone’s own battery.

The Moto Insta-Share Projector turns any wall into a 70-inch screen with physical buttons on the mod to control the power and settings, and adjust the focus.

The Hasselblad True Zoom turns any user into a professional photographer thanks to optical image stabilization and a 10x optical zoom.

A charging power pack from Incipio will give users an additional 2,220mAh battery to keep the phone alive for longer by recharging without slowing down, axiom said. – TradeArabia News Service
