Marks & Spencers opens new store in Ibn Battuta Mall

DUBAI, May 26, 2016

Marks & Spencer (M&S) has a real treat lined up for its UAE customers with the official opening of its brand new store at Dubai's Ibn Battuta Mall – the first store in the UAE to feature its new premium boutique shopping experience.

Sahar Milani, M&S regional marketing manager Mena and Stephen Rayfield, M&S managing director Mena inaugurated the new store at the mall.

Located in the new extension of Ibn Battuta Mall, the 12,000 sq. ft. store will showcase the best of Marks & Spencer’s quality clothing and accessories across Womenswear, Menswear, Lingerie, Kidswear and Food. Just in time for summer, customers will be able to shop from the popular Holiday Shop which includes stylish swimwear and cover ups in a variety of bright summer shades, through to cooling, crease free linen shirts and trousers. The Food Hall will include Marks & Spencer’s unrivalled quality and innovative foods.

The new M&S boutique format – the first of its kind in the UAE – aims to make the store more inviting and inspiring for customers to shop with flattering lighting, large mirrors and seasonal imagery. At the entrance, the striking welcome zone will showcase the season’s must-have trends and through its new sleek and contemporary boutique fashion displays, customers will be able to see the extensive breadth of styles, fits and outfit ideas available at the new store.

The new store complements Marks & Spencer’s 26 existing stores across the Middle East and its flagship website of over 6,000 clothing, home and lifestyle products which gives customers access to more choice and availability including more sizes, styles and colours. At the new store, customers can also use the ‘Click & Reserve’ In-Store Service to collect online orders within 60 minutes of making their reservation via www.marksandspencerme.com.

Exceptional quality, stylish clothing collections
All Marks & Spencer collections are designed and developed by a team of skilled international in-house designers based in London. Each season they take inspiration from the international runways, customer research and feedback to create chic, wearable and high-quality ranges that reflect the key seasonal looks.

In Womenswear and Menswear, the collections for summer include smart wear, casualwear, accessories and footwear, as well as destination departments such as its popular Linen Shop and Denim Shop. In Lingerie customers will be able to choose from its latest lingerie, sleepwear and hosiery. Whilst in Kidswear, Marks & Spencer is a one-stop-shop for high quality, on trend baby and kids clothing for girls and boys aged up to 16 years and includes daywear, accessories, nightwear and essentials.

At the new 1,800-sq-ft Food Hall, customers will be able to discover a world of the finest global flavours and award-winning food.

The new Ibn Battuta store will bring over 1,500 lines of delicious meal solutions, treats, snacks, drinks and gifts, including iconic British favourites such as, scones, teas, jams and biscuits. The store will also feature an in-store bakery carrying freshly baked on-site breads and pastries including sesame seed bagels, cranberry and pecan batons, whole meal farmhouse loaves and Bakewell tarts.
