DSF twin campaign bonanza draws to a close

Dubai Shopping Festival twin campaign bonanza drew to a close, with thousands of raffle enthusiasts and shoppers waited anxiously for the results of the grand finale organised by the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG).
 
The final draw which was held at Global Village, Dubai’s leading family entertainment and cultural attraction, saw a lively atmosphere as winners’ received prizes and goodies, said a statement.
 
The month-long promotions, offered raffle winnings worth a total of Dh3 million ($816,589) in the form of family cars, gold and vouchers along with additional chances of winning instant prizes with their purchases, it said.
 
The winners of the weekly raffle draws have been a mélange of nationalities including Europeans, Emiratis and Indians with the campaign witnessing people winning prizes worth thousands. 
 
The ‘Shop & Win. Play & Win’ promotion saw consumers who made purchases of Dh200 and above, receive a raffle coupon for a chance to win a family car every week! On top of this fantastic offer, shoppers could double their chances of winning, with on the spot instant prizes including luxury sunglasses, perfume sets, watches and gift vouchers that were given away. 
 
Digital games were also set up at kiosks in the mall to win instant prizes.
 
The ‘Shop & Win Gold’ promotion awarded winners a total of five kg gold for those eligible shoppers who made purchases of Dh100 and above at select participating malls. Each week five lucky consumers received 200 grams of gold while one lucky consumer won a mega grand prize of 1kg gold at the end of the promotion.
 
The entire campaign also saw a double digit increase in footfalls across all member malls with the increased participation from community and neighborhood malls across the emirate.

The promotion held in collaboration with DFRE has been a major success this year to promote the retail sector in Dubai especially in the community and neighborhood malls.
