Majid Al Futtaim, a leading shopping mall and leisure chain across Mena, recently appointed new mall managers as part of the company’s strategic growth plans for City Centres Ajman, Fujairah and Sharjah.

Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, senior director of Property Management at Majid Al Futtaim Properties, oversees the UAE shopping malls, in working with a diversity of both local and international staff.

Newly appointed mall mangers -- Mariam Al Jasmi of City Centre Sharjah, Abdulhamid Bukhashem of City Centre Ajman, and Mohammed Al Rais of City Centre Fujairah -- are all UAE Nationals who continue to share their industry expertise in their current roles, a company statement said.   

City Centre Sharjah is now overseen by new mall manager, Mariam Al Jasmi, whose methods contribute to the growth and continued development of Sharjah’s premier shopping destination, in addition to maintaining a high level of customer service. Al Jasmi will play an instrumental role in supporting new projects and activities in City Centre Sharjah: delivering new retailers to the Emirate as part of a planned redevelopment later in the year.

Mohammed Al Rais brings a refreshed approach to ensure the success of the premium shopping destination, City Centre Fujairah. Having worked with Majid Al Futtaim since 2012, Mohammed Al Rais will build on his asset management and operational experience. His previous roles at City Centres Deira and Mirdif provided him with new practices and insights into the operations of Majid Al Futtaim’s shopping malls, spearheading a thorough and combined experience for customers.

City Centre Ajman’s mall manager Abdulhamid Bukhashem has also been a part of Majid Al Futtaim’s team since 2011. Contributing to City Centre Ajman’s positioning as a leading lifestyle destination, Abdulhamid leverages on his six years of experience in management and finance.
