Qadeem to showcase handmade ceramic pieces in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, April 23, 2015

Qadeem, a leading Jordanian company that specialises in producing handmade and hand-painted ceramics industry, is set to showcase a wide range of its pieces at the ‘Ataya’ Charity Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, UAE next month.

The fourth session of the exhibition will run from May 3 to 7, under the patronage of Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, assistant of the chairman of Red Crescent Authority for Women's Affairs in Abu Dhabi.

Reed Zalabia, general manager, said: “There will be a wide range of handmade ceramic pieces decorated with Islamic calligraphy, designs and graphics in many different forms, according to the vision of modern far from uncommon.

“The exhibits will include various shapes, sizes, colours and designs with a very high quality and artistic value pieces from tableware to unique selection of decorative and ornamental pieces, and what makes it more special and beautiful is the Islamic calligraphy and graphics designed by ‘Qadeem’ craftsmanship team.”

The exhibition will also feature the first ‘luxurious practical’ combination designs, which will be launched on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan in ‘Ataya’, including and not limited to dishes, bowls, mugs, water jugs and cups, dates serving plates etc, with distinctive designs that give every single piece its own uniqueness which will add a classy touch to our holy month’s tables.

Meanwhile, the organisers of the event have contracted with ‘Qadeem’ to produce special luxurious gifts to be presented to a group of senior visitors and contributors who support the objectives of the charity exhibition.

The proceeds of ‘Ataya’ this year will go towards the building of a hospital for mothers and children in Erbil, in Kurdstan region. - TradeArabia News Service
