Apparel Group unveils big DSF promotion

Dubai-based Apparel Group has lined up a number of promotional and exciting activities for its range of brands and stores across the emirate to celebrate the 20th momentous anniversary of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF).

The 20th edition anniversary of DSF is being held under the theme “Journey of Celebrations” until February 1, 2015.

The Apparel Group hosts a number of fashion and lifestyle brands under its umbrella.

As part of its promotion, Apparel Group - through its own loyalty programme Club Apparel, the popular Canadian coffee shop and casual dining outlet Tim Horton’s and the makeup brand Inglot - is offering customers an enjoyable shopping experience this DSF season.

The first engagement comes with Club Apparel’s ‘20 Families, 20 Destinations’ concept launched for its esteemed shoppers until January 31, said the statement from the UAE retailer.

Customers spending a base amount of Dh300 across any of the Club Apparel stores in Dubai will be eligible to participate in the competition and stand a chance to win a luxurious family vacation for four, it stated.

From January 15 to Feb 1, customers and tourists across Dubai are in for a treat at Inglot stores across Dubai, said the statement from Apparel Group.

Joining the celebrations, Inglot will launch their exclusive ‘Fall in Love’ collection, with an apt title of #fallinlovewithdubai.  Also, a Beauty Retreat will be hosted at its store in The Dubai Mall, wherein the brand will educate and engage with Beauty Bloggers from across the UAE, GCC and the DSF Committee, thus reaching out to the consumers in the online space.

A major highlight will be popular Canadian casual dining outlet Tim Hortons which will be brewing a special surprise for its customers today (January 10) at Sky Dive Dubai.

Laila Mohammed Suhail, the CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the event organisers, said: "Apparel Group has created a number of promotional activities that are directly linked to our 20th anniversary and I am sure this will play an important role in helping to encourage more shoppers and increased spending at their outlets and stores throughout the festival period."

"DFRE recognizes the wholehearted support of leading retailers like Apparel Group and it being an essential component for the continuous success and popularity of DSF," she stated.

Commenting on the participation, Nilesh Ved, the chairman of Apparel Group, said: "The past 20 years of the DSF has drastically brought in a progressive change and seen a positive shift in the fashion and retail industry in Dubai."
