450 firms join Sharjah watch and jewellery show

More than 450 jewellers from all over the world are taking part in the 37th MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show, which opened in Sharjah, UAE, today.

The event is being held at the Expo Centre Sharjah and will go on until October 18.

The show is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

The five-day event was opened by Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdullah Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, chairman of Sharjah sea ports and customs, and is being carried out over 20,000 sq m of exhibition space.

 This time, National Pavilions at the show include Hong Kong-China, India, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

As in the previous shows, shoppers spending a minimum of Dh500 ($136) will be entitled to a raffle coupon, and the luckiest of them can take home fabulous prizes daily.

The show is open to visitors from 12 pm to 10 pm daily, and from 4 pm to 10 pm on Friday.
Exclusive timings for ladies will be on Wednesday from 12 pm to 4 pm. Admission is free for all. – TradeArabia News Service
