Bahrain Duty Free in key stores revamp

Manama, July 6, 2014

Bahrain Duty Free, the kingdom's airport retailer, has announced several key changes at its facility including relocation of some outlets in the departures area of Bahrain International Airport.

Over the past week, the Bahrain Duty Free relocated its book store, toys & electronics to a new strong footfall location that it is believed will increase penetration.

These moves along with other initiatives have cleared approximately 420 sq m of retail space for a new fashion area that is scheduled to commence operations in September, said the retailer in its statement.

Bahrain Duty Free general manager Fadi Allam said: “We are extremely excited about this initiatives which we believe will offer our customers new brands with the great service that Bahrain Duty Free is renowned for.”

The area will be home to a number of brands including Lacoste, Hackett, Vilebrequin, Ralph Lauren, Porsche Design, Tumi, Fendi, ST Dupont, Furla, Longchamp, and Lanvin, in addition to others that are still under negotiations, he stated.

It will also be home to a new sunglass store catering for all brands; including some brands currently not listed.-TradeArabia News Service
