Manama, January 30, 2013
Samsung Electronics has launched its ATIV Smart PC, a hybrid computer that combines the benefits of a touchscreen device with the functionality of a notebook, in Bahrain.
The device has been dubbed by Samsung, as its "most powerful mobile device”, said a report in our sister newspaper the Gulf Daily news.
The device was launched during a ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Bahrain yesterday. It was attended by Samsung Gulf Electronics notebooks business head Denzil D'Souza, management and other officials.
Combining the power of a notebook PC and the convenience of a tablet PC, the ATIV Smart PC and ATIV Smart PC Pro are Samsung's latest set of smart devices, compatible with both Windows 7 and 8 operating systems.
The PCs feature a detachable keyboard-docking system that allows users to switch easily between a clamshell notebook PC and a tablet PC. – TradeArabia News Service
