Sharp device provides fresh air in car
Dubai, November 4, 2012
Sharp Middle East, a leading technology company, has unveiled its new ion generator, which can provide forest fresh inside the car for a healthier driving experience.
Sharp’s high performing Plasmacluster Car Ion Generator IG-BC2A, featuring the exclusive Sharp Plasmacluster Ion Technology (PCI), cleans the air in the car and removes troublesome airborne mold spores, allergens and unpleasant smells such as sweat and cigarettes by emitting ions quietly and efficiently, a statement said.
The car ion generator of 6.5 cm diameter fits into a car cup holder and can be charged by cigarette lighter.
It is designed to release a high level of plasmacluster ions at 20 degrees upward angle that is varied along every part of the interior of the car by the Coanda effect. It functions at a low power consumption of 1.3W and is known for its long service life where the ion generating device needs to be changed every 19,000 operating hours.
Sharp shaped the plentiful comforts and health resources of nature in its PCI Technology, available in Sharp’s Plasmacluster Car Ion Generator. The technology uses natural ionization method that works by emitting highly safe positive (H+) and negative (O2-) ions inside the car atmosphere to suppress the effects of airborne viruses, break down and remove airborne mould and allergens.
The speedy ion generator removes in-vehicle odours such as cigarette smoke, musty car smells, pet and food odours clinging to the inside of the car. The car ion generator has powerful air purification capabilities due to the high density ion generator which achieves 25,000 ions per cu cm.
Sharp Plasmacluster Car Ion Generator IG-BC2A is available at selected retail stores at a recommended retail price of Dh300 ($81.65), the statement said.
A new model of the Plasmacluster Car Ion Generator is scheduled to be launched in the market in 2013, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
