Huawei launches new Android smartphone

Global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, Huawei, has launched its latest Android smartphone in the UAE, the Ascend G300.

Designed for fashion enthusiasts, Huawei’s Ascend G300 adopts the latest fashionable design, with a unique designing idea, which shows the new social tendency, a statement from the company said.

“At Huawei, we strive to answer consumer needs with innovative, powerful performance and stylish designed products,” said Jiao Jian, the Middle East president of Huawei Device. “Why pay first class for first class? With the Ascend G300 impressive specs and fashionable design and affordable price, we are confident that it will become popular among the UAE consumers across the country.”

Powered by a 1GHz CPU, and running on 4.0 inches WVGA (800*480) high definition big screen, the Huawei Ascend G 300 offers a larger diversity of functions with strong social and entertainment tools, available in Carrefour, Lulu, Emax, and Jakcy’s retail outletd with a price of Dh799 ($217.56).

In addition, a 5-mega pixel camera is available with video zoom and a 360 degree panoramic shooting. It also designed to capture moving pictures for a better user experience..  

Designed with a metallic cover material providing an anti-fingerprint surface, the Ascend G 300 also has a 1350 mAh in a 122.5x63x10.5mm body. It contains a five-second fast switching on and two-hour quick charging. – TradeArabia News Service
