Mirdif City Centre to launch fashion event
Dubai, March 27, 2012
Mirdif City Centre, a leading shopping and leisure destination in Dubai, will hold a three-day fashion and beauty event next week featuring an array of catwalk and beauty shows.
Back for its third consecutive year, the Mirdif Fashion Weekend will be held at the mall from April 5 to 7.
A café area will be recreated with a catwalk running through the middle, allowing guests to dine while watching the latest runway shows and beauty demonstrations which will feature local and international labels from casual wear to chic high-end eveningwear, as well as the latest make-up, hair and beauty products.
“Since its opening, Mirdif City Centre has continued to position itself as a leading lifestyle and shopping destination”, said Hussain Moosa, associate director of Mirdif City Centre.
“After the success of last year’s Mirdif Fashion Weekend, we are excited to present customers with an even bigger and better lineup. This year will see the return of the popular Kids Catwalk Competition, as well as informative catwalk shows providing shoppers with hints and tips on how to dress for their body type.”
Throughout the month of April, visitors to the mall will also have the opportunity to win weekly prizes worth Dh25,000 ($6,805) in gift cards when they spend a total of Dh300 across any of the mall’s extensive store offerings. As an extra incentive, those who spend Dh650 or more on the same day will be given a ‘Golden Ticket’ for the chance to win the ‘Golden Package’ grand prize – a gold plated iPhone.
Mirdif City Centre will be distributing a style booklet which features latest SS’12 collections available at the mall as well as fashion and beauty tips provided by experts. – TradeArabia News Service
