Damas brings Quinting watches to region
Dubai, February 24, 2011
Damas, the global fashion and jewellery retailer, has launched Quinting watches in all its stores in the region.
The Swiss brand's credo is ‘buying a Quinting watch must represent an excellent investment’. For this reason, Quinting models do not change much apart from a few technical improvements in order to reach for perfection, according to a spokesperson.
“Quinting remains for us today our proudest accomplishment because we have succeeded, where so many others have failed, even the most important watch-making brands. We have not only managed to create a totally new movement, which proves that technological innovation is not only the privilege of the oldest watchmaking brands, but we have also succeeded in becoming an established identity, impossible to copy: transparency,” stated Pascal Berclaz, president of Quinting watches.
According to Pascal just as transparency remains a total mystery, so does its indigenous movement that has amazed the watchmaking world and made it immune to all copies. In fact Quinting watches are the only ones in the world that cannot be copied, he added.
“Quinting watches have both the Swiss watchmaking tradition and its future. These timepieces with mysterious technology and unique aesthetics have attracted the greatest personalities of this world such as Bill Clinton, Kofi Annan, Vladimir Putin, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, various Swiss presidents like Pascal Couchepin, Moritz Leuenberger, Samuel Schmid and Joseph Deiss who is the president of the United Nations too. Thus Quinting watches are for all those who wish to capture and share a dream and believe, like us, that nothing is impossible.”
The Quinting models are available at Damas Les Exclusive Boutiques located in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.-TradeArabia News Service
