Panasonic, a leading electronics manufacturer, has expanded its popular international warranty scheme to cover 19 countries, with three call centers set up in the region, one each in the UAE, Iran and Lebanon.
The Care Plus International Warranty (CPIW) will be available on all Panasonic consumer electronics sold in the GCC, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt, representing impressive customer care.
The scheme will now offer a total cover package in 19 countries including India, Pakistan, Philippines, Egypt, Cyprus, Thailand, Kenya, and all GCC countries.
“Panasonic is committed to providing high standards of care to all of its valued customers,” said Anthony Peter, associate director and group general manager direct communications and customer care, Panasonic.
“CPIW has proved very popular, and we are now able to offer cover in a broader spectrum of countries and products to give peace of mind and total care everywhere. We are totally committed to our beyond borders, beyond expectation promise.”
“With many expatriates looking for some great bargains during this holiday season Panasonic are happy to offer this star service, a customer-centric programme to ensure total confidence in the purchase, even when they return home,” he added.
Panasonic CPIW is included with all of the new Lumix range of digital cameras which were recently launched in the Middle East, as well as all HD camcorders, and the popular high-end Viera range of flat screen TVs.
The cover is now also expanded to all Panasonic LCDs, PDPs and refrigerators in India, while still and movie cameras purchased at the Cairo Duty Free will also be valid for repairs.
Anthony Peter also highlighted the results of a recent Panasonic survey conducted with end users on Panasonic’s Star service network:
“We constantly invite feedback and suggestions from our customers, so that all of us at Panasonic can deliver the highest quality product and service to everyone who buys our product. The survey showed that Panasonic has enhanced its performance in a majority of GCC and Middle East markets.”
The survey also revealed that Panasonic’s aim to present their services as ‘rapid, reassuring and reliable’, thereby exceeding customer satisfaction, has had a strong impact on consumer behavior. In addition, there was a growing recognition that Panasonic is a ‘customer-centric’ organisation, according to the independent research. – TradeArabia News Service
