Hurricane Matthew made landfall in western Haiti, causing mudslides and flooding, while two children were reported killed in neighbouring Dominican Republic when their family's house collapsed under the heavy rains from the storm. The storm is about 15 km (10 miles) east of Tiburon, Haiti, and 200 jm (125 miles) south of the eastern tip of Cuba, the Miami-based National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in a special advisory.
