Airport workers remove a landing gear from a Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) plane that got stuck in mud at the runway after a heavy downpour in Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Paranaque, Metro Manila on August 5. Airport officials said the Saudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 747 plane bound for Riyadh was taxiing and preparing for takeoff, when it swerved and veered on a grassy area of the runway, causing its landing gear to be stuck in the mud. At least 11 flights were delayed for arrival and departure due to the incident, but no one was hurt. Reuters/Stringer
