OEM, Sigma win key maintenance contract from UAE oil major

Leading oilfield service company OEM Group, and its regional partner, Abu Dhabi-based Sigma Engineering Works (SEW), have together secured a major contract from its second seven-figure contract with the largest oil and gas producer in the UAE, thus bolstering its track record in the Middle East market.
Founded in 2012, OEM Group is headquartered in Aberdeenshire (UK) with operations in Great Yarmouth (East Coast Diesel), while Sigma is an expert in providing excellent in-house services including testing, fabrication, and refurbishment.
A part of Mazrui Energy Services, Sigma is a 100% Emirati-owned company headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Its facility is one of the largest in the region, situated on more than 22,000 sqm of land.
As per the five-year deal, OEM will be providing services such as inspection, repair, corrective and preventative maintenance to the Emirati firm in addition to supply of spare parts for diesel engines and diesel driven equipment.
The work will be carried out on a number of offshore drilling platforms in Abu Dhabi as well as the surrounding islands, it stated.
OEM, which will celebrate its tenth year in business later this year has been servicing the oil and gas, marine and renewables sector in engine and generator repairs, servicing and testing since its inception and has built up an impressive track record globally.
In the last year the company has experienced an exceptional increase in work in the Middle East with multiple contract wins with major contractors and new partnerships.
