Penspen wins construction contract for 51 Adnoc onshore wells

ABU DHABI, April 12, 2021

Penspen has secured a four-year contract from leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) organisation, Galfar Engineering & Contracting Emirates, to provide the procurement and construction of flowlines and wellhead installations for 51 wells within Adnoc Onshore’s oilfields at Shah, Qusahwira and Mender at Abu Dhabi.
 
A leading global energy services company, Penspen said this is its second contract win from Galfar in recent months.
 
The scope of work includes increasing the crude oil production from the subject fields whilst ensuring timely delivery of multiple type of wells in task order. 
 
This exercise will see Penspen, with its extensive experience from similar projects, cover the design and detailed engineering of different types of wells, including gas lift, water alternating gas (WAG), electrical submersible pump (ESP), water injection and water disposal wells, said the statement from Penspen.
 
Additionally, Penspen will support Galfar with project delivery to ensure that time, quality and budget is met by June 2025, it added.
