AMS boosts Mideast operations with Demag cranes

DUBAI, March 12, 2019

Aertssen Machinery Services (AMS), a heavy lifting and heavy transport company, has expanded its key operations in the Middle East region with the addition of Demag CC 2400-1 and CC 3800-1 lattice boom crawler cranes.

A specialist in the field of vertical and horizontal heavy transport, AMS has a wide range of mobile telescopic, telescopic crawler, lattice boom crawler, and mobile tower cranes as well as SPMTs (self propelled modular trailers).

These two cranes will help Aertssen execute challenging projects in the oil and gas and construction sectors, said a top official.

“Equipping our team with the latest crane innovations is an important part of our customer commitment, and Demag is an industry leader in that area,” remarked Tony Nuyts of Aertssen Machinery Service, which has a major presence in the Gulf region.

"Demag is a major brand of Terex Corporation, a global manufacturer of lifting and material processing products. These crawler cranes are easy to transport, quick to rig and come with an IC-1 control system with an intuitive touchscreen," he stated.

The CC 3800-1 can lift up to 650 tonnes at a 12-m radius, has a max load moment of 9,152 tonne m and 195-m maximum tip/sheave height, said the statement from AMS.

The CC 2400-1 has a nominal capacity of 400 tonnes, a max load moment of 5,150 tonne m and a maximum tip/sheave height of 168 m, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
