HVAC R Expo Saudi 2019, the largest dedicated indoor climate and refrigeration event in the kingdom, will run from January 28 to 30 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC).

This year, the event is back in the kingdom at a different venue with 35 per cent more floor space than last year, and is expected to attract over 7000 visitors, said the organisers.

More than 85 exhibiting companies are set to take part in the upcoming event, while over 28 free and certified training sessions will be held for visitors, said the event organisers.

"With air conditioning systems currently consuming almost 40 per cent of power generated in the country, there is a lot of focus on energy efficiency in the HVAC R sector," remarked Roni El Haddad, the event director for HVAC R Expo Saudi.

"This presents a huge opportunity for the industry to develop as growing population increases demand for cooling," he added.

The exhibition will present hundreds of solutions set to address efficiency ratings in the HVAC R industry, including LG Electronics single package units which result in 30 per cent quicker cooling; VTS Clima Gulf WING Air Curtain which reduces electricity consumption by 40 per cent, HH Shaker and Midea duel-sensing technology that saves up to 58.5 per cent energy.

El Haddad said: "Forecast to reach a value of up to $6.36 billion by 2022, the local HVAC R market is energised, making it the best time for professionals to network, conduct business and find new products at HVAC R Expo Saudi 2019."

"We will not only host over 85 leading industry brands at the expo, but will also offer training sessions where professionals will be able to enhance their skills and get certified," he noted.

Visitors to the event will benefit from free access to over 28 CPD (continuing professional development) certified training sessions sponsored by Samsung – Alessa Advanced Projects, said the organisers.

The agenda will include presentations by Saso, GSO and SCE, as well as Carrier, Hussein & Al Hassan G Shaker Bros, Modern Trading CO. Ltd, and Shaker Group, he stated.
