Iraq invites bids for Kirkuk oil export pipeline

BAGHDAD, Iraq, December 25, 2017

Iraq has called for bids for the building of a new 350-km pipeline for oil exports to resume from Kirkuk to neighbouring Turkey, a media report said.

The pipeline will have a capacity of more than a million barrels per day, reported Oman Observer, citing AFP.

The new pipeline will replace a section of the route from Kirkuk province to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, the report added.
