DNO offers to develop Iran oilfield

TEHRAN, August 14, 2017

Norway-based DNO, a leading oil and gas company, has proposed to develop a major oilfield in Ira, a report said.

National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) had received the proposal from DNO to develop Changuleh oilfield in Lorestan Province, Gholamreza Manouchehri, NIOC’s deputy managing director for development and engineering affairs, reported Iran Daily, citing Press TV.

Several other international companies including Thailand's PTTEP and Russia's Gazprom have also signed agreements to study the same field and present their proposals for its development.

Changuleh is located close to the border with Iraq and is among NIOC's priority development projects.
