L&T showcases capabilities at Saudi Elenex

DUBAI, May 18, 2017

Larsen & Toubro's (L&T) Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) team successfully showcased its multi-dimensional EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) capabilities in power, infrastructure and renewable energy at the Saudi Elenex exhibtion held in Riyadh recently.

The three-day show was held from May 14 -16 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.

The show, which attracted over 112 companies from 12 countries, covered panel discussions, presentations and plenary sessions on power transmission, distribution and renewable energy.

During the event, L&T displayed its strength in all domains of power transmission and distribution with specific emphasis on power transmission and renewable energy projects executed across India, Saudi and GCC, highlighting its role as a major EPC player.

S L Mahajan, vice president and head – PT&D Saudi Arabia; Tauqeer Mohammed, head contracts (substation); and other key team members in Saudi Arabia briefed the visitors at the stall.

Senior officials from reputed establishments in Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries, including Mansour bin Abdulrahman Al Qahtani, executive vice president, Saudi Electricity Company, visited L&T’s stall. The team’s presentation and track record won them appreciation from all quarters, said the statement.
 
Saudi Elenex is a trade exhibition for the power, solar and lighting industries and is held under the patronage of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Water and Electricity.
