Adnoc Distribution opens new outlet in RAK port

RAS AL KHAIMAH, November 26, 2016

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (Adnoc Distribution) has opened a new marine service station in Ras Al Khaimah port, its 33rd such facility in the emirate.

The new station is the second of its kind that operates on land as a marine station, and the third within the Adnoc Distribution network that was built to the new design specifications and standards of marine stations within the UAE.

Serving fishermen, boat owners, and motorists, the station includes two islands located in-land and one marine island. The facility is fitted-out with three pumps retailing a range of fuels such as E-Plus 91, Special 95, and green diesel.

Speaking at the launch, Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, the acting chief executive of Adnoc Distribution, said: "With a finger on the pulse of the community we serve, Adnoc Distribution works relentlessly to meet the demands of all our customers - including fishermen and boat owners."

"We are committed to expanding our network of marine service stations as part of a more inclusive strategy to keep pace with the continuing growth and progress of the UAE," he stated.

Al Rashdi said the company aims to open 460 service stations by the end of 2017, including 22 new stations that will officially be launched before the close of this year.

"In line with Adnoc Distribution’s commitment to ensuring quality services to boat owners, the station provides fueling services 24x7. Customers can also make their necessary retail purchases at the Adnoc Oasis store," he observed.

The new station also comprises an ATM machine, fast food restaurant, and shops for lease, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
