Kuwait raises July oil price for Asia, cuts in Europe

LONDON, June 10, 2016

Kuwait set its July official selling price (OSP) for crude sales to Asia at $1.50 a barrel below the average of Oman/Dubai crude, up 30 cents a barrel from June, trading sources said on Thursday.

This is the highest selling price for Asian buyers since September last year.

The OPEC producer also cut its July OSP for crude sales to Northwest Europe by 35 cents to a discount of $6.15 a barrel to dated Brent.

Prices for sales to the Mediterranean weakened by 30 cents to dated Brent minus $5.70 a barrel, while the price for Sidi Kerir was down 10 cents at dated Brent minus $5.25 a barrel. - Reuters
