Saipem to sign pipeline deal with Iran

MILAN, January 25, 2016

Italian oil services group Saipem is set to sign an accord with Iran for a pipeline about 2,000 km long  worth between $4 billion and $5 billion, a source with knowledge of the matter said.

Saipem was not immediately available for a comment.

Saipem shares were suspended from trading on Monday after rising 6.7 percent on the first day of a 3.5 billion euro cash call as traders said investors were selling the rights to buy the new shares and buying the stock instead. --Reuters
