Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) is set to showcase its global competencies in the supply of jet fuel at an upcoming event, with an objective to support the on-going development of the aviation sector in the UAE and the larger Middle East.

 

The Dubai Airshow 2015 will run from November 8 to 12 at the Dubai World Central.

 

According to recent statistics, traffic at the Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport has been forecast to reach a total of 125 million passengers and more than five million tonnes of air freight in the 2020’s, presenting ample growth opportunities for fuel suppliers. 

 

In addition, aviation business in the UAE has sustained a compounded annual growth rate of about 11 per cent over the last 15 years. 

 

The fuel sales volume have grown from about 460 million US gallons (USG) in 2001 to about 2.2 billion USG this year, reflecting a 480 per cent growth over this period.

 

Enoc has had a strong presence at the airshow since its inception in the Middle East. At this year’s airshow, the company will showcase its jet fuel offering and transportation capabilities to airports in Dubai to meet the growing industry fuel needs and overall customer demand.

 

In addition, Enoc will be unveiling a project which is a key element for Dubai’s rapidly growing aviation sector. This project will prove to be a catalyst for the massive growth expected at both international airports in Dubai.
