KA CARE to develop renewable energy sources

King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KA CARE) is set to develop renewable energy sources, industries and services related to it, according to a report.
It will provide relevant technical education and training in the field in Madinah, said the Arab News report.
Madinah mayor Khaled bin Abdul Qader Taher met KA CARE presidnet Hashem Abdullah Yamani to discuss the various ways and means of co-operation in the field of renewable energy, a KA CARE media department official was quoted as saying.
The discussions followed up on major topics highlighted in the agreement already reached and signed between the KA CARE and Madinah Mayoralty, he said.
The best ways and means to achieve on time the objectives specified in the agreement that was aimed at conducting a joint study to integrate development of renewable energy in the holy city with special attention to the measurement of renewable energy sources, development of solutions and stations of renewable energy, development of relevant technical education and training, and the development of these industries and services related to renewable energy in Madinah region, was also touched upon, the report added.
