Bahrain plans to tender for $6bn projects

MANAMA, September 16, 2015

Bahrain will start tendering major oil and gas projects worth more than $6 billion over the next few months, it has emerged. Energy Minister and National Oil and Gas Authority (Noga) chairman Dr Abdulhussain Mirza told delegates at the third Middle East Process Engineering Conference (Mepec 2015) yesterday (September 15) that the tendering process for the expansion and modernisation of the Bapco refinery would begin in the first half of next year, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
