BAGHDAD, July 2, 2015

China’s Anton Oilfield Services Group (Antonoil) has been commissioned to provide a series of services covering workover of three wells, coiled tubing acidizing and other downhole services in Iraq, a report said.

Antonoil is the chief contractor for the project operated by an international oil company, added the report in Iraq Business News.

The contract value is estimated at close to $18 million and the project is likely to start early next year.

The Iraqi Drilling Company is its working partner for the supply of workover rig equipment and operation, the report said.
