Deshpande .... joint venture could pave the way for larger co-operation in the sector

Tata Projects, Siraj in Oman inspection services JV

MUSCAT, June 11, 2015

Oman-based Al Siraj Holdings, a diversified business group, has signed a joint venture agreement with Tata Projects, one of India’s leading infrastructure companies, to offer quality inspection services in the country.

The joint venture will also provide expediting services in addition to quality inspection services for the oil and gas, power and infrastructure sectors, said a statement from the company.

Tata Projects has the experience of working in 40 countries. With its presence in UAE, Germany, China, Korea, South Africa and Mauritius, the company is well positioned to service global customers for second and third-party inspection, expediting and field quality services.

Vinayak Deshpande, managing director of Tata Projects, said: “This joint venture could pave the way for a larger co-operation in the industrial infrastructure sector among the two companies.”

Al Siraj Holdings has interests in investments, building management systems, information technology services, construction and related services, energy, education, travel and tourism, real estate and logistics and manufacturing.
