Saudi Aramco says oil price cuts announced earlier were correct

Saudi Aramco said it had cut sharply January official selling oil prices for Asia and the US, repeating an earlier announcement that it had appeared to retract.
Aramco said in a statement that a previous message, headlined "Recall", had referred to a repeated message, meaning the earlier prices were not incorrect:
"Some of you may have received our OSP notification email twice due to a technical glitch. We recalled one of the emails, both of which were the same, to avoid duplication." -- Reuters
