Libya's oil production falls to 700,000 bpd

TRIPOLI, September 22, 2014

Libya's oil production has fallen to 700,000 barrels a day, a spokesman for the state-run National Oil Corp (NOC) said.
 
NOC had last reported output at 870,000 bpd a week ago.
 
The El Sharara oilfield and the Zawiya refinery that it supplies are both closed, said Ibrahim Al Awami, head of the inspection and measurement department at the Oil Ministry. -- Reuters
