120 delegates to join Bahrain Energy Forum

More than 120 regional and international delegates will take part in Meed’s Bahrain Energy Forum which will open tomorrow (April 21).

The three-day forum, at the Crowne Plaza in Manama, will discuss the exciting plans and project opportunities that will reaffirm Bahrain’s historic position as the energy hub of the Gulf and the wider Middle East.

The event is being under the patronage of Bahrain's Minister of Finance and the Minister in Charge of Oil and Gas Affairs Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, the Bahrain Energy Forum 2014. It is held in partnership with Bahrain’s National Oil & Gas Authority (NOGA), the supreme government agency responsible for Bahrain’s hydrocarbons industry.

Sheikh Ahmed will deliver the forum’s opening keynote, which will be followed by an address from Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, chief executive of Noga Holding, who will outline the oil and gas giant’s 2030 vision and strategies, and discuss future energy requirements.

Timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the start of exports of crude oil from Bahrain, the Bahrain Energy Forum will celebrate the achievements made by the kingdom’s hydrocarbons, power and water sectors and explore the upcoming prospects for energy businesses globally. - TradeArabia News Service
