
Bahrain oil revenue share in GDP down

The contribution of oil revenues to Bahrain’s gross domestic product (GDP) has dropped from 55.8 per cent in 1980 to 21.5 per cent, Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa said in response to a question by MP Isa Al Qadhi.
Non-oil revenues rose from 44.2 per cent to 78.5 per cent in the same period, he said.-TradeArabia News Service
