Iraq H1 oil income $2bn ‘more than expected’

Iraq’s oil revenues were about $2 billion more than expected in the first half of this year, the country’s oil minister said.

The extra income would help Iraq to narrow its budget deficit, originally planned at ID22.9 trillion ($19.6 billion), Oil Minister Hussain Al Shahristani was quoted as saying in our sister publication, the Gulf Daily News. – TradeArabia News Service
