Investors ‘should look at oil services firms’
New York, December 24, 2007
Investors should consider buying shares of oil services companies such as Weatherford International and Schlumberger because they can benefit from expected increases in global exploration and production, Barron's said in its latest edition.
Global exploration and production spending should rise more than 11 percent in 2008, which means a good deal of work for oil services companies. The oil services group is cheaper than the broad market but offers better growth, Barron's said.Reuters
