New A8 showcased in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, December 12, 2017

Audi Abu Dhabi is showcasing the new A8 at its showrooms in the emirate.

The all-new Audi A8 was on display in the Abu Dhabi Showroom until December 9 before being moved to the Al Ain Showroom, where it will be showcased till today (December 12).

In its fifth generation, the new A8 sets the future of Audi’s luxury class as one of the most technically innovative cars in the world, truly embracing the brand’s ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ moniker.

Amongst its most impressive tech, the Audi A8 integrates artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities including: AI Active Suspension, autonomous parking and a pre sense 360˚ safety system. The 360˚ system can intelligently detect collision hazards around the car, taking specific preventive measures (such as adjusting the driver’s seat, or performing an emergency stop), to reduce the impact of a collision and help keep both driver and passengers safe.

With Audi’s mild-hybrid technology, the A8 also boasts fantastic fuel efficiency. Built around a newly developed 48-volt main vehicle electrical system, the car delivers fuel consumption of up to 0.7 liters per 100 km.

Other new and innovative features integrated within the A8 include the Audi virtual cockpit, touchscreen technology to control sound, temperature, overall comfort and more from a fully digitized instrument panel. Through the system, owners are also provided full control over the ambience of the car’s interior with a range of 30 different hues for side and surface lighting.

Mark Austin, General Manager of Ali & Sons Audi, said: “We are pleased to showcase the new A8 in pride of place in our showroom, as a car that truly epitomizes Audi’s famous ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ slogan. All Audi fans, as well as those interested in cutting edge motoring, are most welcome to visit our showroom to witness the car’s innovations first-hand.” - TradeArabia News Service
