Abu Dhabi F1 ticket promotion ends May 31

ABU DHABI, May 30, 2017

Tickets for the 2017 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are now offered at a 30 per cent discount period, marking a Dh600 ($163) saving, said event organisers, adding that the promotion will run until May 31.

Organisers are urging entertainment seekers, sporting enthusiasts and families alike to purchase their tickets for the biggest event in the sport and entertainment calendar as soon as possible. Interest has already been extremely high with West Grandstand 3-day, West Club 3-day and Abu Dhabi Hill 2-day tickets having already sold out with only a limited number of 3-days Abu Dhabi Hill tickets now available.

With an F1 ticket race goers will not only be able to witness world-class Formula 1 racing action but will also be able to enjoy four days of on and off-track entertainment.

This year’s ticket includes family entertainment in the Oasis Areas, access to Yas Island Parks - Ferrari World Abu Dhabi & Yas Waterworld plus all the night activities of the Yas Marina and this year’s soon to be announced After-Race Concerts. Last year saw four nights of international headline acts which included; “Mr Worldwide” Pitbull, legendary duo The Chemical Brothers, music icon Lionel Richie and global superstar Rihanna rocking the After-Race Concerts at the Du Arena.

Nick McElwee, director of Sales and Marketing at Yas Marina Circuit said: “Our ticket pricing structure allows our most loyal fans and those buying their tickets early to get the best discounts available – and right now you can get up to 30 per cent off the ticket price until the 31st May.  Ticket demand has already been extremely high, we are encouraging everyone to buy their tickets now and take advantage of the current offering.”

With the 2017 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 23-26 confirmed as the final race of the 2017 season, fans will not want to miss out on the climax to what promises to be the most exciting championship battle in years, he added.

“The 2017 season has already got off to a fantastic start, with driver and team wins changing literally race by race.  And the way things are going it’s likely the championship will go down to the last second of the last race, with a likely showdown in Abu Dhabi in November,” McElwee noted.

In a bid to offer fans even greater flexibility and value, this year will see the ‘GP Parks Pass’ return and the introduction of the new ‘Kids Go Free’ package.

The ‘GP Parks Pass’ is a three-day package that allows unlimited access to Yas Island Parks – Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld – on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The three-day ticket package starts from Dh1,120 (for Abu Dhabi Hill) and will only be available for purchase until 1stAugust from all ticket outlets. Please visit the website for more details of all ‘GP Parks Pass’ options.

With each three-day adult Grandstand ticket purchased, registered kids ‘Go Free’. This means that up to four children under 12 will get free Friday entry to that Grandstand, as well as enjoying free access to Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

Only those who have purchased an F1® ticket will be eligible to enjoy the After-Race Concerts.
