The all-new Infinity Q60

Infinity unveils new Q60 sports coupe

DUBAI, UAE, January 13, 2016

Infinity recently unveiled the latest Q60 sports coupe at the 2016 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

The sports coupe maintains the distinctive lines and sharp angles of the original concept, first revealed at the 2015 NAIAS 12 months ago, according to a statement from Infinity.

Speaking in Detroit, Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Nissan Motor Corporation and the Renault-Nissan Alliance, commented: “As the third-generation version of Infiniti’s iconic sports coupe, the new Q60 builds on Infiniti’s brand heritage and history of technology leadership. It reinforces Infiniti’s reputation for performance, elegance, and driver-focused design”.

The Q60 comes with innovative drivetrain technology which delivers a powerful drive, Infinity said. It contains a high performance 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine from the VR powertrain family. The new V6 engine comes in two power ratings, 300hp or 400hp.

The new coupe can also be fitted with the optional Dynamic Digital Suspension which gives it crisp handling responses and superior ride comfort, the statement added.

According to the statement, Infiniti’s available second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering brings improved levels of steering feel and feedback to the Q60, and the Drive Mode Selector gives drivers the option to personalize the steering’s precise responses to suit their preferences.

Roland Krueger, President of Infiniti Motor Company, added: “The Infiniti Q60 conveys a powerful elegance through its daring design, next-generation ride and handling technologies, and powertrains offering up to 400hp. The Q60 will attract new customers to the Infiniti brand and affirm our position in the sports coupe segment.” -TradeArabia News Service
