BMW reinforces importance of ME market

DUBAI, November 18, 2015

BMW Group is continuing to highlight the importance and success of the Middle Eastern region through a visit by the premium automotive manufacturer's head of importer markets.

Bernhard Kuhnt, the group's senior vice president of importer regions held meeting with BMW Group importers in the region's three biggest markets: UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The executive tour of the region, currently the group’s third largest market for sales of the 7 Series model, included exclusive preview events of the flagship model, and comes as the brand prepares for the Dubai International Motor Show 2015, where the all-new 7 Series will be headlining at the BMW stand.

With responsibility for BMW Group sales in 77 countries, Kuhnt also used the trip as an opportunity to meet with BMW customers and get an in-depth business overview of the region and each importer market.

“The Middle East is a dynamic and exciting region and as third largest market for our flagship 7 Series model, one of great importance for BMW Group. It is encouraging to see the great work our importers are doing and across the entire region in both meeting and exceeding the expectations of our loyal and growing customer base," said Kuhnt.

"With best-in-class facilities, a strong focus on after-sales service, and as experts in their markets, our regional partners provided a wealth of insights that we, as a Group, are able to take learnings from,” he said.

Johannes Seibert, managing director of BMW Group Middle East, said: “Bernhard’s tour of the region reinforces both the success and commitment of our regional partners to BMW Group, as well as the support and commitment of the Group to our strong and active network of importers.  Our regional meetings were marked by insightful exchanges with each importer visited, and were of great value for all.” - TradeArabia News Service
