Euro Motors ..... 50 per cent increase in sales of Rolls-Royce in 2014.

Euro Motors posts 50pc rise in Rolls-Royce sales

MANAMA, January 22, 2015

Euro Motors, the sole authorised dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Bahrain, has achieved a 50 per cent increase in sales of the ultra-luxury marque in 2014 compared to the previous year.

Euro Motors has revealed the news following the recent global announcement that the Middle East region was the second largest market for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars globally, comprising around one-fifth of the company’s global volumes throughout 2014, demonstrating its continued contribution to the success of the marque in the region and beyond, said a company statement.

Paul Yates, general manager of Euro Motors, said: “Looking back on 2014, the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars marque has many reasons to celebrate.”

“In Bahrain, the economy has improved throughout the year and here at Euro Motors, the ongoing popularity of the Rolls-Royce Wraith, the introduction of the Ghost Series II and our ongoing strive for excellence in every aspect of the brand, bought the year to a close on a high. As the economy continues to grow, we are looking forward to an even more successful 2015,” he added.

The top growth model in 2014 was the Wraith, the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history, which has consequently stood out as the most popular choice amongst a younger category of audiences throughout the year.

The Wraith has attracted a diverse clientele including younger audiences, as well as those sports-car enthusiasts looking for a combination of power, style and ultra-luxury, it added.

Building on the success of the Ghost model, the most recent addition to marque’s ultra-luxury family of vehicles, the Ghost Series II, also proved a popular choice for the discerning Bahraini clientele since its launch in November.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom maintained its position as the company’s pinnacle product with steady sales throughout the year.

In addition to the introduction of the Ghost Series II, 2014 saw Euro Motors welcome one of the 35 limited edition Phantom Drophead Coupés Waterspeed, designed and crafted in honour of Sir Malcom Campbell, an English racing motorist and motoring journalist who broke the water speed record over seventy years ago in a Rolls-Royce-powered Bluebird K3 hydroplane boat.

This unique vehicle showcases the level of unparalleled, painstaking craftsmanship that is required to bring Bespoke concepts to life and has contributed to Rolls-Royce sustaining its leadership of the industry in the area of personalisation further into 2015, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
