Al-Futtaim Motors launches UAE’s first Lexus 3S Centre
UAE, January 21, 2015
Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Lexus in the UAE, has officially inaugurated a new facility in Ras Al Khaimah, making it the first Lexus 3S Centre in the UAE (sales, service and spare parts).
The new Lexus 3S centre brings the total number of Lexus facilities in the UAE to 17, and the latest facility has been developed keeping the needs of the customers in mind, said a statement.
An official opening ceremony was organised to mark the occasion with the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasemi, chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone Authority; Len Hunt, president of Automotive Group at Al-Futtaim; Jon Williams, senior managing director of Al-Futtaim Motors; Saud Abbasi, managing director of Al-Futtaim Motors - Lexus, in addition to a number of VIP guests and members of the media, it added.
The 53,981-sq-ft fully integrated Lexus 3S Centre offers customers a much more convenient and efficient experience, whether they are looking to buy a new or pre-owned Lexus, or servicing their existing one.
Saud Abbasi said: “We at Al-Futtaim Motors continue to invest in expanding and revamping our extensive network in order to deliver amazing guest experiences through personalised and attentive care that exceeds our customers’ expectations.”
“Taking into consideration that our customer base in the Northern Emirates and specifically Ras Al Khaimah has significantly increased over the last few years, we built a world-class Lexus facility to ensure our customers receive a warm welcome, personal, transparent, easy and special experience at every touch point with the Lexus brand,” he added.
The new facility is located on Sheikh Mohammad Bin Salem road, Ras Al Khaimah, and boasts a total of 53 parking bays for customers visiting the showroom or the service centre, and 29 dedicated Lexus staff committed to provide market leading customer service.
Lexus customers will benefit from minimal waiting time with a large number of technicians expected to service an average of 18-20 cars in one day. The workshop is designed to provide a clear and transparent view to the service bays from the comfort of the waiting lounge, allowing customers to watch their cars while being serviced.
Keeping with Lexus’ environmental credentials, LED lamps have been fitted in the workshop to reduce temperature emanating normally from high intensity sodium lamps and consequently save energy. Also a water recycling plant has been installed to reuse water from two dedicated washing bays.
In 2015 Al-Futtaim Motors will complete several other Lexus network projects in the UAE, further cementing the brand’s commitment to satisfying its customers, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
