Al Hilal Bank kicks off auto fest

Abu Dhabi-based Al Hilal Bank kicked off an auto festival offering its famous 60-minute 'walk in, drive out' auto finance scheme via Al Hilal Takaful.
 
The financing option starts at a rate of 1.99 per cent and car insurance at 2.25 per cent, said a statement.
 
The annual Al Hilal Auto Festival – Family Edition, under the theme ‘This is not a car show, this is family fun,’ will run till April 6 at the Beach Car Parking, Corniche in Abu Dhabi.
 
It will feature interactive activities for people of all ages and combines it with attractive prizes and a more diverse range of vehicles on offer including the latest models of cars, motorcycles, luxury yachts and a select range of 2015 branded cars that will unveil at the event.
 
The visitors will get a chance to view more than 350 branded vehicles displayed from over 21 top-of-the-line brand exhibitors and test drive the cars on inclined tracks. 
 
The event will also feature on-the-spot counters for opening of Seghaar accounts. Government entities, including Abu Dhabi Police Department, Emirates Red Crescent, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, Emirates integrated telecommunications vompany ‘du’ and UAE Football Association, will set up their pavilions to engage the public and spread awareness about their facilities and their progress towards the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030. 
 
In addition, as part of the co-operative agreement with Al Hilal, the UAE Football Association will give the public an opportunity to take photos with the President’s Cup. 
 
Mohamed Jamil Berro, group CEO of Al Hilal Bank, said: “All roads lead to the exciting Al Hilal Auto Festival – Family Edition to be held in Abu Dhabi. Searching for a new car was never before so interesting with several entertaining and rewarding activities lined up during the four-day show. We invite people to attend the fest with their families to avail attractive interest rates on car finance and insurance on wide variety of branded vehicles, participate in fun-filled carnival, win prizes and have a great time with near and dear ones.”
 
The bank has also set up a ‘Hala and Nassour Kids Village’ at the festival for kids to enjoy the four-day show while their parents browse across the many offered vehicles. Spread across a wider space than the last years, the village will feature educational facilities that will help children develop their talents as well as entertainment activities. 
 
The event will also highlight over 20 kiosks where Emirati women, from the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, will display handmade cultural products and restaurants offering multi-cuisine food.
