Tasjeel opens new vehicle testing centre

Dubai, September 29, 2009

Tasjeel has opened its new vehicle testing and registration centre in Khorfakkan, managed by Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) in collaboration with Sharjah Police.

The new site of Tasjeel covers 250 sqm and includes a wide range of facilities that allow customers to complete the vehicle testing and registration process swiftly. The centre also has an Eppco service station, 'Mini Mart' convenience store, insurance booth, document typing booth and number plate factory.

“The launch of the Khorfakkan site reinforces our commitment to providing value-added services for our customers. The new centre will serve over 40,000 residents.”

The Khorfakkan site is the seventh branch of the privatised Tasjeel vehicle testing and registration stations across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. It has a capacity to serve over 100 vehicles a day. Other locations include Al Qusais, Al Barsha, Al Aweer, Warsan, Sharjah Auto Village and Jebel Ali.

Tasjeel’s eighth site at Hatta, Dubai is also scheduled to open its doors in October and its facilities are similar to those available at Tasjeel Khorfakkan centre.-TradeArabia News Service
