His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, has issued an edict, promulgating the issuance of a guide regulating public–private partnerships.

 

The edict says:

Article (1): The provisions of the guide regulating public–private partnerships accompanying this edict shall be enforced.

 

Article (2):

A- The Minister of Finance and National Economy shall issue the edicts, instructions and guidelines necessary for the implementation of the provisions of this edict, including the technical and financial provisions and procedures to be taken into account by the administrative authorities while designing partnership projects or implementing them through partnerships.

 

B- The Ministry of Finance and National Economy shall be responsible for verifying the compliance with the provisions of the guide accompanying this edict, and the edicts, instructions and guidelines issued hereafter in accordance with its provisions.

 

Article (3): The Minister of Finance and National Economy, and those concerned -- each within their capacity -- shall implement the provisions of this edict, which takes effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
