Jumeirah to transform beachfront into culinary hotspot

DUBAI, September 23, 2021

Jumeirah Group, a leading luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, has revealed that it will expand its culinary offering with 13 new and re-imagined concepts opening over the next three months.

Transforming its coastline into a culinary hotspot, the enhanced dining experiences will cater for all tastes and occasions; from a Parisian jazz bar to an innovative farm-to-table BBQ pop up, a cocktail bar to a modern brasserie and grill – and more.

Furthermore, The Hide, Al Nafoorah, Zheng He’s, and other Dubai institutions will be revamped, while Shimmers and Kayto – two of Jumeirah Group’s popular dining experiences – will make their international debut in the Maldives, according to a statement.

CEO Jose Silva said: “Jumeirah Group’s strategic positioning puts food and beverage as a core pillar of the brand and its strongest differentiator. Our portfolio of new and enhanced culinary experiences, all of which are set to launch around Expo 2020, will provide guests, residents and visitors more choice and add to the collection of restaurants and bars in the city.

"It will also support the UAE vision towards the next 50 and bolster our international development, with two of our concepts launching overseas. We are proud of our culinary portfolio and look forward to welcoming everyone for a taste of Jumeirah–personalised dining experiences.”

The group's latest addition Jumeirah Maldives, an all-villa resort which opens its doors on October 1, claims it will infuse island life with Mediterranean and Nikkei flavours at the Shimmers and Kayto concepts.
