The biggest match in English football will be shown live at a free outdoor event in Abu Dhabi this Sunday (November 10).

 

Manchester City FC is holding the screening at Zayed Sports City for their massive Premier League game against Liverpool.

 

The Premier League’s top two clubs go head to head at Anfield in a match which will be crucial in terms of deciding where the title will end up this season. It’s also a fixture which pits the current Premier League champions against the Champions League holders, with two of the world’s best managers – Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp – aiming to get the better of each other.

 

Manchester City will show the action on the giant screen at Pitch 15 – with beanbag seating and refreshments available for those in attendance.

 

Micah Richards, a City legend who was recently in the UAE for a club trophy tour, hopes their local fans will be out in force for a huge game.

 

He said: “You have so many nationalities in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE, and to see lots of them supporting City and really understanding the club is brilliant to see. There is nothing better than them all coming together for big games and they have had lots to cheer about in recent seasons – let’s hope that continues.”

 

City, who are currently second in the table, six points behind leaders Liverpool, were the last team to beat the Reds in the Premier League, winning 2-1 at the Etihad in January thanks to a late Leroy Sane goal.

 

With some of the best players in the league set to be involved on Sunday, it promises to be another brilliant match, and this event at Zayed Sports City is not to be missed.
